Harley Davidson produced this four-valve model with air coolers in two different sizes from 1930-1936. This was the company’s first sidevalve motorbike. 31 horsepower, 3711. (!) The restorer of this bike, Zoli “The Artist” Mórocz, found the VL (or to be more precise, a picture of it) at a fair in Szigetszentmiklós. The motorbike went through four different exhausts in six years until he came across a British specialist in VLs, Steve Slocombe. His book shed some light on the precise technical data. József Csík carried out the work needed on the engine block. The most important aspect of the bike-building was obviously to make sure it remained as close as possible to the original 1930 model. Restoration of the bike took one and a half years. The motorbike has received a great deal of positive feedback from vintage motorcycle enthusiasts, which is best illustrated by the fact that it won the main prize in the 2008 Oldtimer Show.

Totalbike reported on the special vintage motorcycle in this hungarian article. blogger42.hu also wrote about it. You can find photos in this Flickr album.
